About

Software Architect at Zilch, London. I work where product, engineering and regulation meet, and I care most about systems that are simple to reason about.

Profile

README.md

I architect the platforms behind regulated financial products: consumer credit, payments, and the systems that move money at scale. My work is deciding how services fit together, how money and data flow between them, and how the whole system holds up under audit, incidents and growth.

I’ve spent years building and leading platform engineering across teams. Alongside industry work, I hold patents and publish research.

My full history is on LinkedIn, and my patents and publications are on Google Scholar. I also keep a personal blog that has nothing to do with work.

  3. ADR-003
Design for failure and auditAssume parts will fail and every money movement will be questioned. Build for both from day one.

  4. ADR-004
